The Vvaan is the next big Bollywood release of 2026 and is just two days away from its theatrical release. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, the film managed to generate decent hype with its promotional assets. With the trailer and songs enjoying good traction, all eyes were on how the film would perform in advance bookings at the Indian box office. Now that bookings are open, let’s find out how it has fared so far.
Full-fledged bookings yet to open
As of now, only limited bookings are open with 1,573 shows. With Hanuman Ansh still going strong, it’ll face some resistance, but it is expected to debut with a good showcasing. The average ticket price is 235 rupees across India, which makes it affordable for moviegoers. With more shows getting added, the price is expected to come down.
The Vvaan grosses 30 lakh+ through day 1 advance bookings
Coming to day 1 advance booking update, The Vvaan has sold 13,570 tickets (excluding blocked seats), as of 4:30 pm IST. In terms of collections, it has grossed 33.29 lakh at the Indian box office through the opening-day pre-sales. Once full-fledged bookings start, the number is likely to see a big surge. As far as initial momentum in limited bookings is concerned, it’s decent.

Among states, Delhi leads with 8.24 lakh gross. It is followed by Maharashtra’s 4.68 lakh. Among cities, the Delhi-NCR region ranks first with 8.24 lakh, followed by Mumbai with 2.92 lakh.
Aims for a decent start at the Indian box office
The Vvaan is expected to open with decent numbers. It is unlikely to hit double digits and score 5-8 crore net at the Indian box office on day 1. This won’t be an ideal start, but it’ll still give some stage to grow over the weekend with favorable word-of-mouth. Since the film has been made on a controlled budget, there’s a good chance it will emerge as a clean success in the long run.
