Ever since its release on July 17, the Matt Damon-starrer has not fallen below the $1 million mark. It is a quiet and impressive feat, and now it has been 60 days since the film followed the streak. It has now beaten the 59-day streak of Finding Nemo and become the 6th-longest $1 million streak of all time.
The Odyssey is now in its 9th week at the box office. On its 9th Monday, the film earned a strong $1 million. The domestic total of the film now stands at $601.7 million in the USA.

The Odyssey Eyes $1.7 Billion In Worldwide Market
Christopher Nolan’s film has crossed the $1 billion mark in overseas markets and is now eyeing the $1.7 billion mark globally. According to reports, The Odyssey collected $28.1 million on its 9th weekend at the overseas box office, with just a 15% drop from last weekend. According to Box Office Mojo, The Odyssey has hit the $1.09 billion cume over 82 international markets. Therefore, its worldwide collection hits $1.68 billion.
Disney’s Inside Out 2 grossed $1.69 billion worldwide in 2024 at the box office over its lifetime. It became the all-time #11 highest-grossing film worldwide. Universal’s The Odyssey is inches away from surpassing the global collection of Inside Out 2.
To enter the Top 10 global grossers of all time, it needs to surpass the $1.86 billion mark globally. Since the mythological epic is on track to earn $1.8 billion to $1.9 billion in its global haul, it will easily beat Zootopia 2 and break into the all-time top 10 worldwide.
