Karthi-starrer Sardar 2 has almost washed out at the box office. The second part of the Sardar franchise was expected to surpass its previous installment. However, the film opened to poor reviews, resulting in a dip in collections. The film also clashed with Soori’s Mandaadi, which is doing excellent numbers at the box office.

On its 6th day, the Karthi-starrer dropped below 1 crore in daily collections. The film, released in Tamil and Telugu, has seen a steady decline at the box office since its opening day. The film collected a net total of 0.54 crore at the domestic box office. The net total for the film stands at 13.64 crore, which equals 16.1 crore gross. Overseas, the film has just collected 4.5 crore, bringing the worldwide total to 20.6 crore.
