The Odyssey at the worldwide box office
The Christopher Nolan-helmed movie became the 18th movie in Hollywood to cross the $600 million milestone at the North American box office this weekend. It collected a solid $7.6 million on its 9th three-day weekend at the domestic box office. It declined by 42% since last weekend, despite losing 329 theaters on Friday. Its domestic cume is $600.7 million.
According to reports, The Odyssey collected an insane $28.1 million on its 9th weekend at the overseas box office with just a 15% drop from last weekend. According to Box Office Mojo, The Odyssey has hit the $1.09 billion cume over 82 international markets. Therefore, its worldwide collection hits the $1.68 billion mark this weekend.

Set to beat Inside Out 2 worldwide!
Disney’s Inside Out 2 was released in 2024 and grossed $1.69 billion worldwide at the box office over its lifetime. It became the all-time #11 highest-grossing film worldwide. Universal’s The Odyssey is inches away from surpassing the global haul of Inside Out 2 as the #11 highest- grossing film of all time.
The Matt Damon starrer will also edge closer to breaking into the top 10 global grossers of all time. At #10 in Zootopia 2 with $1.86 billion lifetime total. Since the mythological epic is on track to earn $1.8 billion to $1.9 billion in its global haul, it will easily beat Zootopia 2 and break into the all-time top 10 worldwide.
