Directed by Safar Sanal, the film has been written by Joju George, Ramesh Girija, and Safar Sanal. The film follows the story of a stubborn and short-tempered woman named Aasha, who gets into an altercation with Jeemon (Joju George) over a road accident. She is resolved to pursue a case against him, while he threatens her with serious consequences. In parts, the film reminds one of Urvashi’s famous film Achuvinte Amma. However, Aasha has a more serious, thriller-like tone than the emotional tone of Achuvinte Amma.
